Welcome to Girl Geek Dinners SoYo (that’s South Yorkshire for the uninitiated!) … bit close to the wire getting this online before our first event but we’re thankfully here now.
First official Girl Geek Dinner SoYo is Thursday September 2nd 6pm at the Digital Media Centre in Barnsley – full info and booking via Eventbrite. The dinner is FREE as it is forming part of the programme of networking for the creative sector currently being delivered by Creative Barnsley on behalf of the European funded project Enterprising Barnsley.
Big thanks to Enterprising Barnsley and ERDF for making the event possible.
The event also kicks off a six month cornucopia of Geek Girls Allowed events ranging from socials to workshops for women in tech, science and creativity from across South Yorkshire. More info via the Gist Foundation site.
